My wife’s a second-grade teacher and has been teaching her class from our TV room. As part of setting up her ‘classroom’ at the start of COVID-19, she posted this quote on the wall behind her.

I’ve seen some screencaps of her teaching and having this quote over her right shoulder is a great reminder to her students that sometimes things are hard, but they can do them.

When I watch TV or do work in that room, I find myself looking at that quote and using it as a reminder for myself as well. The hardest things are often the most rewarding things — and yes we can do them.
