I think it is a good mantra to live by. After all of my digital projects and life decisions I take a moment to reflect. Usually, shortly after when the details are still fresh, but there has been some space. If we learn from our past we will not make the same mistakes, but will be able to move forward and make better decisions. I believe the key is to make decisions based on reason, not emotion. The only way to do that is to analyze decisions that you’ve already made without emotion. Then when a similar situation occurs you have the previous analysis to help you make the decision.
