3 Marketing Newsletters You Should Read

For my first post of 2021, I’m happy to share a few newsletters that I find entertaining and informative. I subscribe to a lot of newsletters and read a lot of blogs about marketing, agencies, and various industries. There are a lot of great resources out there, so when I find one or two that cut through the clutter I’m happy to share them with you.

These are not in any order and each offer something unique.

  • Growth Marketer – I’ve subscribed to this weekly newsletter from Nicholas Scalice (it comes out every Thursday) for a few months. It provides a great summary of news, tools, and insights. It’s fun to read and includes the right number of emojis if you ask me. It also offers deals on some of the tools it highlights, which is always a good thing.
  • Indie Letters – This newsletter started in May of 2020 and has provided a lot of interesting information. I like that it is not just an aggregator, but pulls content into the newsletter itself (similar to NYtimes emails). I’ve found it to be an enjoyable part of my weekly routine.
  • AdWeek – This shouldn’t be any surprise, but it’s a great source of agency news and overall analysis of marketing trends. I do not subscribe to the physical magazine, but do enjoy the emails. The layout is clean and the headlines are informative ensuring that I know what to expect before I have to click the link.

There are a lot of great resources and newsletters out there about everything. When I discover one that I think is both educational and entertaining I’m happy to share the recommendation.

These three newsletters are very different in their format and content, but they each offer something unique. I hope you’ll subscribe to them and would love to hear the newsletters you subscribe to. Drop them in the comments below or shoot me a note on the contact page.
